P@VU) was created to streamline navigation for corporate inquires and opportunities to resources across the VU enterprise (Talent Acquisition/Hiring, Student Engagement/Development, R&D/Innovation and Consulting, Tech Transfer & Commercialization, Skilling/Executive Education, Athletics, Corporate Social Responsibility, EDI and/or K-12 Outreach Initiatives, Sponsorships & Business Engagements, etc.) in order to advance the institution as a destination for corporate engagement and investment. A radically collaborative three-pronged approach has been implemented to drive desired outcomes: 1) Serve as the concierge for corporate collaboration across the university enterprise. 2) Proactively manage an identified portfolio of strategic university-wide corporate relationships - enhancing communication, increasing transparency, and aligning solutions to achieve highly coordinated - and sustainable - organizational relationships. 3) Operationalize and lead a new radically collaborative university Network Hub initiative with a regionally based member of the CP@VU team in each pilot city (with development and alumni relations as well as enrollment management colleagues) - enabling coordination of relationships with companies across multiple geographic proximities and initiating new gateways to opportunity with partners not previously engaged.

This session will overview the strategy, structure, and deployment of this newly launched team. We will highlight initial wins with examples, as well as discuss what safeguards future success (leadership directive and support, enterprise CRM, as well as a cross-campus advisory team of decision makers--in addition to a radically collaborative culture).

We especially look forward to the thoughtful questions and feedback from the NACRO community tuning in, to steer meaningful discussion and continuous improvement for us all.
